Dr. Lobsang Sangay became the first democratically-elected political leader of the Tibetan people

On 8 August 2011, Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay became the first democratically-elected political leader of the Tibetan people in their history. Grounded in his fundamental guiding principles of Unity, Innovation and Self-Reliance, the exile administration has achieved outstanding results in the political, economic, education and social spheres.

Dharamshala: – On 10 December Yeshe Choesang, editor-in-chief of the Tibet Post International (TPI), released his book “Voice of An Exiled Tibetan” at the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Dalai Lama’s receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize and the 66th International Human Rights Day.

Gyalo Thondup, older brother of the fourteenth Dalai Lama, erstwhile CIA collaborator, and longtime exile-government liaison to China, wrote The Noodle Maker of Kalimpong (with coauthor Anne Thurston) in 2015.
